Ever consider putting a cage in the cab since the windshield certainly isn't going to providing any protection?  Putting it on the door like you have in the pictures would worry me without a cage.

Jesus Christ, are you serious!!!  I paid like $70 a piece for mine, 17's also and shipping included!  Still not as good as $55, but i had an extra "fee" because i ordered mine with 2" backspacing instead of what they offered normally so it cost a few bucks extra per wheel.

Ooh and peacesells, rad 4runner man, my wife is wanting me to make her 85 pretty much exactly like you have there.  Do you have a build thread or any specs on it?

Thanks guys!  :beerchug:

I had a jegs preferred customer 20% off coupon for the steelies, the km2's were like 310 a tire after I argued with 4wheelparts all afternoon, picked up a 5th on cl for $50

I do have a build thread, http://board.marlincrawler.com/index.php?topic=53806.0;highlight=4skinner

The light version of the specs -
Marlin 23 spline dual ultimates w/longfield output shaft
Tg skidplate
tg rear housing w/elocker 3rd converted to cable locker and 5.29's
high pinion arb front/529's
30 spline longs/hub gears/ifs hubs/v6 calipers/lc rotors/all arp hardware
allpro high steer
v6 MC and booster
rears up front, chevys out back
front pushed foreward 3in, rear back 3in for a 109in wheelbase
full dynamatted interior/kicker/kenwood/infinity sound system
2003 3rz will go in this winter
fj80 axles and front 3link will happen next summer.
smittybilt 8k winch, tg front and rear bumpers
I made the sliders and added the tire carrier

Its been a great truck, Ive been beating on it alot since I parted my crawler and it always drives nice and straight, never left me stranded!

My rig fits in this thread too.

How she looks on the street....People don't think i wheel it.

This truck is used for daily driving, wheeling, Hauling stuff....just whatever i need it for. I had the bed full over the roof with scrap to take to recycle the other day. Shes a trooper.

That's a gorgeous rig. Makes me miss my 84 longbed I had when I was 17. White also with a 4" lift. I think you have the cleanest ride in the thread.
I gotta ask, what is CHUD? I remember a horror flick from the 80's by the same name, Cannibalistic Humanoid Underground Dwellers.

Thanks, Its my baby.

CHUD is a car club that started about 6 years ago. Everyone who was in was invited by the guy who started it. It started as all VW guys that had been featured in magazines in that past year and were beating up in the shows. Now most of the vw guys have moved on to other things. Lots of BMW's, Audis, and the guy who started it is big in to FJ's. Its really kinda died off but i threw the stickers on when it was still kinda big. I love it when people ask whats chud and most of the time i just tell em it stands for something stupid. LOL

not going to clutter up the thread with the pic but this was the first year of CHUD at dubfest

Russell, Love the rig. Super clean, and good thing it gets wheeled.  Mine is pretty clean but yours is another level.  Mine is a DD too.  Get some 37's on that monster... Or lower it down a pinch.

I love it....Sad thing is its on 37's Winter plans are to get it lower. For some reason it looks taller then most think. Frame height is 29inches with 35psi in the tires. Its a bit tall but so far so good. The rear is where i need bumpstops. I just finished it not long ago so it hasnr seen too much trail time yet. I ran 9 trails this summer all pretty tame compared to how she was wheeled before. Im trying to learn the truck more so i dont trash it...

PS i have a few pics of your rig saved on my computer...Where can i snag a few more? I love your rig!

;)

I love it LOL
