haha thats funny.. do the cops give you a hard time for no mud flaps with your 35's? cause the do with me! i got a tickit today for runnin a red light and they were complaining about me need all 4 tires with mud flaps and fender flares.. new plates, new winshield cause mine is craked and no mirror on the passenger side! a couple months ago i got pulled over and they said the could give me a noise complaint for "my tires cherping going around corners) cause of myy welded diffs! haha i hate it when cops are pricks!
I got pulled over twice in the same day for no mud flaps and 35's. I got pulled over, then made it less than a mile before I was pulled over again for the same thing. I had to explain how I didn't have time to fix my mudflaps in the last 1/2 mile.
They also got me for the no passenger side mirror thing.
I am also running a Lincoln locker, but he didn't hear the tires so I got away on that one.
As for mudflaps, I now run qiuck disconnect mudflaps, so I can take them off when I get ready to hit the trail.

Your LUV looks almost exactly like mine.... same color and everything. Also WAS from Oregon too but now up in Wa. What part of Oregon are you from? My truck was built and passed around Albany until I ended up with it and have hung on to it for about the last 5 yrs. I wish mine had a Toy power plant.... it might be running then.

Mine has a built Buick 231 V6 in it and a chevy T-350 tranny with Toy transfer case and axles. When it runs it runs and sounds like a beast but it was built for mud so its screamin' fast in a straight, level line but if this thing even sees a hill it chokes on its tongue and falls on its face and the suspension has almost no articulation. I'll get it trail worthy some day but its gonna take alot of work. I'd be more motivated if I had a circle of friends that were into this stuff too but I dont know anyone that is into dirtbikes and 4x's up here in Wa yet so the bike and truck just sit for now.

Did you wheel much in the snow with or drive on ice much before the flat bed. Just wondering how the weight differnce compares.

that was the first time i had this truck in the snow so i dont know what difference it would make, but i think it would be better with a real bed with some weight in it. Dont know tho... i wasnt very impressed with the KM2's in the snow, they were not bad but not good like on the rocks either
