This last photo is my first attempt at using the techniques I've learned recently. Would have been a great shot had the tripod not moved (damn tide coming in and out) and had I not chopped off the top of the tree on the rock to the left.

haha yea I was gonna say I don't know exactly where I was...Three Rocks? Three Points?...something like that. My friend lives in Canon Beach and I went to visit and get some coaching for my new camera and he took me there.

i'm not much of a cheese fan. i'm boring and ask for chedder only whenever i order something that comes with cheese.

i've lived here 22 years though and have never gone on the infamous factory tour. i'm lame.

I've been practicing taking pictures of not-so-great things in the hopes of getting better at composition, I think.

It's really hard to post pics right behind Kyle.

I had to get up early one morning, and the fog was incredible.

And I had to put the truck in the picture on this one. That is the Mini-Guppy in front of the last remaining blimp hanger.

Have you ever thought about a vacation with National Geographic? They do those expeditions that you can go with them. Wife and I would love to do this once the kids are out of the house. We think this would be awesome.

It's not mad skills, it just knowing what to look for, timing and lighting!! I love the last two.

Next time I get to Fresno, I'm going to see Yosemite. We are planning a trip to Yellowstone next summer.
