86rustbucket here's that guys website. http://www.clarklittlephotography.com/  I love the pics of the wave sucking up the sand.

Kyle, how much touching up do ya do on your pics?  I don't like to photoshop any of mine.  Mine are the way you see them naturally.  I do need to get some filters, especially a polarized filter!

Sweet, so it's either the USS Arlington, USS Somerset, USS New Orleans or the USS New York.
At least that narrowed it down some. :gap:

There are 5 ships that look identical to that one. That is why I didn't know which one it is.

I like it! Try not to cut off the top of his head next time though.

jrock

Okay, I thought so too, but is it okay to cut off some of his body?

Yeah, just try not to cut off hands, heads feet, ya know, the little stuff, but feel free to cut off 1/3 or 1/2 of a body.

She is a really awesome person. Great athlete, and a great model.

Unfortunately, she moved to a different state.

hey so a classmate of mine who's a photo major recommended that i look for a canon 20d based on my needs/ price range... Any objections to that?  I've been scouring craigslist lately..

Best thing to do is go to a camera shop and see which camera feels good in your hands.  And alot of camera shops usually carry used cameras that have been traded in for something newer.  My wife wants a Nikon P80, but doesn't fit my hands, very uncomfortable to hold.  So, go to a shop and talk with them.

i use a Canon 20D for my photos and really like it and only shoot in the "RAW" settings, but the stock lens works ok,but buying a better lens makes your photos that much better..
I'm not responsable for my own action's.

Yes good equipment does make your photos a lot better, but Ive seen some amazing shots from a point and shoot camera. Either way, learn the three most importent things about photography, and you can do amazing things with any camera.

ISO, Aperture, Shutter Speed - Thats all!

82juguete

i know... i took a basic b&w photo class shooting 35mm and got spoiled with aperture/shutter adjustment and manual focus.  Now all the pics i take with my gfs point and shoot are just lame looking, by comparison... sadly her canon doesnt have a manual mode or even ap or shutter priority mode...
