There are three important things to consider as a new member.

1) Private Messages. Due to new members sending spam to existing members via Private Messages, you must establish yourself as someone who desires to participate here by reaching a small number of posts in order to Activate the Personal Messaging feature of the Forum.

2) The Classified. Again, due to new members creating new threads in the Parts for Sale and Rigs for Sale Forums regarding non-Off Roading items, you must establish yourself as someone who desires to participate here by reaching small number of posts in order to Establish Access to these two Forums.

3) Picture Attachment. In order to use our picture and file attachment system, you will need to advance to the 2nd level member group. This is achieved by amassing a certain number of post count so that we know you are here to stay and not here to spam. The best way to do this is to post an Introductory thread in this board so everyone can get to know you! Click here to do that now!

4) Watch this before posting ! (requires Flash)

Hey everyone !

I am new and I really need answers now !

I only posted 3 posts tonight

I am replacing a clutch that I bought from downy years ago, 1600 lb grab and 1600 lb hold, worked great !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now to find the replacement it is a bear !

I had the super clutch II with a flywheel 9lbs heavier than new

I called Clutch masters and now I am thinking Kevlar ??????  Ceramic ????????

I do not want to tear up my flywheel, I drive it hard, chirp into 3rd gear

I put a FORD 9" rear end with disc breaks and a 36 spline axiel in order to put a blown small block Chevy. No more lol :hammer:

I would like to buy it next week but I need more info..... Kevlar, will it tear up my flywheel ???
Which will give the most life driven the same ???

I want to use and clean my old flywheel as well.

What do you guys say ?????

Please help soon, I ned to replace it before it goes south for good  :nerv:

Thank you again for your help
Danny

Hi all, I am checking in here as I just signed up. I am by no means new to the sport just returning to it after a hiatus, you know life (Kids, divorce, get married, more kids, trip to the sandbox, etc.).  I used to run a 1971 blazer with 1 ton axles with a fuel injected 454 out of a 1993 454SS sport truck. It is hard to beat 480ft/lbs at 1600 RPM. Anyways this go around I am looking for something a bit easier on the wallet. I currently have a 1994 sidekick as a daily driver and am trying to decide between modifying it with toy drivetrain or building up a 2nd gen 4runner.  I am leaning towards the sidekick with a vw diesel and toy trans, xfer case and solid axles.  Hope you don't mind mind a veteran wheeler hanging out to learn a few things.
