Im bored so i will play  :outtahere:

heres my ol 87 (now resting in my backyard) no lift except cranked downey torsion bars and a AAL in the rear... yea it rode like hell but it went damn near everywhere and climbed like crazy cause the front was so stiff lol

running 33's (these tucked perfect in the fenders no rubbing)

running 35's (nice to not have flex in the front lol) rubbed just a little at full flex on the bed side, and rear of the fenders at just the right angle...

and just for the hell of it Rockin 31s lol

btw.... the pitman arm only lasted about 2 runs before it toasted the bushings with the 35's, i turned some brass down to the same dimensions as the poly bushings and never had a problem again, same pitmans on my new runner right now.....

^^^ Probably my favorite truck i've seen in a while!  Love it man, looks great and i'm sure it works great too.  Perfect DD/wheeling truck in my opinion.  Not a big fan of Iroks, so i'm sure it looks even better with the MTR's on it.  I will be all over this thing if you ever decide to sell it!

Yea the iroks were ok, i got a deal on them used.. Didnt care for the looks or the bias for DD. It was forsale for a bit because i got bored with it. Guess im going to drop the 3.4 in and dovetail it (still want to haul camping gear or a dirtbike). For the 3.slow i cant complain, it does 80 on the highway and brings me home from the trail.

They are Enkei two peice 15x8 rims with 5" backspace.....  They stick in to far (to much backspace) for a solid axle truck, i had them on my 85 and before i did the IFS hub swap on the front they would hit the springs...

hey fellas does anyone have a bit more of a close up picture of the front inner guards where they had to chop/smash the fender ect with a hammer to reduce scrubbing?  i need to do it to my 84 pickup

bleakhorizon

mine only rubbed the back of the fender/firewall at full stuff and 33s so i smashed the firewall seam down and tack welded the fender to the firewall still rubbed but didnt rip the fender off...

now im running RUFs and i rub the battery box and the same area on the other side   :hammer:
