Unfortunately for the rest of us, the ones with teeth are seldom easy to find  :hahaha:

:woohoo:   i WON :hyper:

yes,  if you havent heard,  last night  at the Razorback Ramble raffle  I WON :woohoo:  the WARN XD9000 winch  :cheer:  :woohoo:

now  the question is,   what to do,   i tried  to put  it on my front bumper  but  the wd9000  is  too  wide,  i'll have to cut  my bumper up a tad,  not that thats a bad thing, its  kinda  bent anyway  and  make it  look right

OR   mount it in the bed  to work with my hoop im building to lift heavy stuff ??  like a little mini tow truck :dunno:

I would hate for you to go through all that trouble.  So just send it on up to VA.  Congratulations  on the winch.

you lucy little $#!*

Mount it on the front then you can use it like it is meant to be. I know your body don't like pulling winch cable, but those you wheel with would be willing to help I'm shure. The hand crank winch you have will be more than sufficient for the loads you will be putting in the back of that truck.

Ok now that I said that this will be a good excuse to get rid of that cow catcher and build ya a new front bumper.

theres  plenty  of room to "trim"  :yesnod:
i might just  cut it apart  make a mount for the winch  then  put the sides  and  grill/headlight protectors  back on  so it looks  right

its  a little  bent

Glen, I welded two pieces of 'L' 3"x4" together to make a 8" 'U',cut a slot for the roller fairlead then welded two sides inwich I bolted to the frame, all this sits tight against the bumper. Damn I wish I could reduce the size of photo to post them.
