I meant the part the :shhh: is gonna be welded to. If you can find a crank type winch or something and a pully? I haven't run accross any good freebies like that lately.

im  going to  remove my spare tire  from under the truck  and weld up my reciever hitch, but i need bumper ideas,  i have some  3 inch angle iron, thats  welded up  in a L shape,  thought about  running that from the  channel  sticking out,  along the  bottom edge of the bed  for  some protection   :dunno:

i have some 1x1x.180wall  square tube,  i'll use that and triangulate  up  to  the  bracket  above the frame for  strength,

i still need  some  gusseting on the  reciever

lets see,  i would  have to angle  the support  down  since the  frame back there  is higher

but it would match the sliders better


hey michael  i  located  a  double tube rollbar  like Marlins  but  i might "alter"  it  to a single  so  it doesnt push my tool box back too far  :dunno:

i wish i had a  side mount box  :down:

yea it was kinda  high,  its from a fullsize  i already cut 8 inches  out of  the  width  and 2 inches  off hieght in the pic,  now  another 2  since it was obviously too high
