  Use Narrow step grate( like they use to make stairs at a Factory) and wire rope like they make lifting slings out of.  They are stiff enough that the steps don't move when you put your fooy on them but bend out of the way if you run them up against the dirt or a rock etc.

The exhust and spark plugs are not protected from water splashing on them. .

Ok here are the pics glen sent me to resize.. I think they are the old mounts with a broken bolt and rotten rubber bushings.. I'll let glen fill us in and do the color commentating.

the bottom  is  one of my handy dandy  body lift block  steel sleeves

Why not run whith something like this after I get your sliders to ya? This one is wraped under to the bottom of the floorboard and is easily removable. Do you have any pics of what you want for sliders?

   my  rear elocker  tried to eat the pinion i think 

the  pinion nut  was stripped 

i put another nut on it  but  i think the crush sleeve   must have  CRUSHED
