is that why he hasnt been logged in in two days? he prolly hung himself.

edit, oh hes online right now.

Dingman.

I haven't hung myself yet.  Thanks....  And why are you keeping tabs on when i log in?   :conf:

Alright fellas what happened is this, I was driving up from butte college, and a pack of turkeys were out in the middle of the road, and a bus full of retards in the oncoming lane swearved to miss the turkeys and overturned in the middle of the road.  So they are now in my lane, so i sweaved around them, killed two turkeys, and drove off the cliff.  So now im bombing down this side of the mountain, dodgeing trees left and right, and a stump ripped my frame apart.  It hooked my axle and ripped it out from under the truck.  When i awoke in a puddle of my own blood and urine and feces, I could hear the cries of the dying turkey's and the screams from the bus, where i scaled up the mountain side as fast as i could.. SO now im at a crossroads, do i rescuse those poor turkeys that are suffering, or the people in the bus that are being consumed by a raging inferno?  Since two of the turkeys were already dead, i cooked them on the open flames.  WHile those buggeres were cooking on the flames, i dove into the bus and rescued everyone in there.  As i dragged them out, one by one, i kept an eye on those turkeys cooking to make sure they wouldn't get burnt.  After resucuing about 3 or 4 people i flipped the turkeys over readjusted the distance from the flames, becuase nothing is worse than overcooked, burnt turkey.  After everyone was safely out of the danger zone, i nurtured them back to health with my homecooked turkey dinner.

So no.. i did not hang myself for doing such a good deed you son of a pregnant dog.

Dingman.

So see you all later, gotta go outside and weld/brace some :pokinit: back together...

84t0y

i still dont know what actually happened if anything. pics?

Dingman.

Dingman.

So we used the winch line to put it where it back to normal.

I welded up all the cracks, ground it smooth, and then used 3/16" plate to brace it.. Still not done with it. Driver side will be braced soon when i move my box forward.  And i am going to do additional bracing to help this from happening again, since all the leverage from that damn bumper, if i were to hit something, or winch it would put a lot of leverage on the frame again.

Should be good to go.

wow that blows, glad you fixed it though, you made it sound much cooler in your story.

Dingman.

So here is some pics from last weekend.
Scott (goose) and I put my all pro leafs in the front that i got from chris(lilbuddy) and heres some pics of em flexing.  Not that impressive, but better than those shitty ass trailgear leafs. Plus my axle is 1" further forward now!

My pile..

Scott's runner:

I need to get new shocks that don't limit flex in the back..  :cheese:

I write good stories..  JK JK...

I guess it just cracked from the leverage from the springs.  I haven't wheeled it in a while.. haven't jumped it, haven't winched, havent hit anything with my bumper.

Glad i caught it when i did.  That front bumper has been moving quite a bit for the last 3-4 days, and i just figured i needed to tighten the bolts again, but guess the frame has been cracked for that long.  Which is sketchy since ive driven to butte in that time frame (70mph).  Thanking God that didn't break and kill anyone.

Maybe we can do the ifs box mount on both of those tomorrow..  I need to brace the :pokinit: out of that side too.

yerp typical crack there.. always run a gusset from the  frame to the hanger  in a triangle fashion from bottom of the frame to the hanger
