head lightsstands for High Instensity Discharge
LilBuddy should be able to help us in this HID desire.he runs HID's on his 02.just search for a 7x6in HID headlight.it will use an H4 bulb
haha i had to read it twice.and i'd get bulbs designed to handle the watts yours putting through them.
thats how i understood it.if the bulbs are 35 and the ballast goes to 55-60watts... youll end up burning the bulb up.
How sure are you on that? Like do you actually know anything about HID bulbs, seriously?
I've read up on it.and had a few people when I worked at Perfection Tire and 4wheel center, that put HID on there vehicles and they didnt upgrade the bulbs and burn't them up.that's what I am going off of lol
i would think that they would work. i dont think the wattage matters just the volts. you can put any watt bulb into a 110v circuit but if you put it in a 220v it would pop the bulb. i would think its the same concept with the HIDs. how much are hte bulbs?
did you look at the ones offered on roundeyes.com
Could be that you bulbs are defective as well.... never trust that new parts are always good!!!
so you bought a kit and it came with 55w ballast and 35w bulbs. when you send them in can you have them exchanged possible? i would love to get some HIDS. my moms 300 has them but here btights arent HID. are most?
"Poor quality HID kits will not just keep fading/flashing and reducing the beam of light, also will cause computer waring and mess up the electronical system, even melting teh headlamp cover and burn the whole headlight wiring."quote from ebay ad. so maybe they are the low quality crap?also, jus curious, how much did you pay for your kit?and, if you didnt get the Bi-Xenon kit, wouldnt it be possible that you low beam (HID) lights would be brighter than your high-beam (halogen) lights?
