Give us your input. We are going to look into the possibility of offering front and rear bumpers for body lift applications.

maybe im wrong, but it seems like most people that run BL's run a 3". :dunno: so it would seem like the common item to produce a bumper for...?

i would say go with a 2 inch bl bumper, this way if the customer has a 2 inch body lift it will work, AND if they have a 3 inch body lift it will still look good with only a 1 inch gap :thumbs:

If you get properly built bumpers you won't be able to show off the crappy body lift.  :smack:

i agree wit hglen, lots of people run 3" and htey are fine, but lots of peopel are also paranoid and wont go bigger than 2" so unless they are adjustable, i would say make them for a 2" lift... suit both markets..... for the guys with a 1", they are fine using the stock bumper height

I would be very interested in a 2 inch body lift front bumper, and some sort of bracketry or conversion kit for people who already have stock height Marlin bumper, but would like to run a body lift. I would buy something like that in a heartbeat. One of the reasons I don't run a body lift is because I want to keep my Marlin Rear bumper on. For us IFS kids who don't have the money to sas, any clearance we can get for bigger tires is always welcome!
By the time I get the money for an SAS I'll be 65 at this rate!

I voted for 1" but that's just me being OCD, and the gap on my bumper bugging the :pokinit: out of me. 2" is probably the way to go...

how about if the had mounting hardware that bolts to the frame and then mounts to the bumper and make it adjustable 1 to 3 inches  :headscratch:

I hope they come out with these bumpers soon. I've been wanting to get a 2" body lift for a looong time now. I just don't want to have to take off my cool Marlin Rear Bumper to do the lift  :rivers:javascript:void(0);

just do a 1inch lift bumper, it would still look fine with a 2 inch body lift and people that use a 3 inch body lift buy smittybilt bumprs anyway
and what about the possibility of getting twin stick shifters back in stock?

I would say two for sure.. theres no point in a 1 inch and there mostly 2 and 3 so if you have a 3... deal with the 1 inch gap because 3's look dumb anways with all the frame you can see on the sides!

Anything happening with this topic? I'd be interested in a bumper (w/stinger) for a 2" body lift :willynilly:
