Just out of curiosity, would anyone be interested in buying this bumper.  Its not for sale yet so I don't want to post it in the classifieds, but I just bought my own bender and want to redo all the tube work on my truck.  Again this is just to see if there is any interest, I haven't decided on a price for sure, but it would be around 350 ish i imagine.

Well the more tube work I did to this truck, the more it left me wanting to start fresh and build a buggy.  So I sold the truck and am planning on building a buggy in the hopefully not to distant future.  Unfortunately this meant I could not finish the bumper how I had planned :(
Instead I just welded every thing up (no longer removable), finished up some of the tube work, and let her drive to her new home in Colorado.  Since I was sitting at home missing my truck thought id post up some pics of how it looked when it left. Nothing major, but the cleanest its looked since I've owned it...

Can't believe that you got rid of this truck for a moped.

Yeah... I think the same thing sometimes. The moped doesn't wheel quite as well, but it will make it up the four lane faster  :eyebrow: lol.  So until I build this buggy I guess you will just have to take me

"Later, I learned that even though I engage 4WD my hubs are not automatically locking? Something about manual locking hubs I think. What's manual mean? I need to read a manual to lock them? lol  So I found these neat autolocking hubs and installed them. Sometimes they dont stay locked while I am backing up, but that's fine because I dont have a backup camera to see where Im going (like our RV) so I just simply dont ever back up"- BigMike

such a shame for that to happen to such a nice truck...  it always annoys me to see clean rigs getting wrecked by doing silly things but then again i guess i dont have money to throw away like that either.. :shake:  oh well... it was nice for a while.
the never ending build...

Not sure how exactly but he told me it went over twice, so I imagine it was crazy steep or he had some momentum.  I'm just glad the tubing held up and he is using it. Better that then someone using it to crawl the speed bumps at the mall.

I don't think so, I haven't seen in on since he bought the truck.  He has since swapped the cab and now the truck is flat black so it will a little harder to spot
