was all ready to go on it then the powers steering box went out so I'm getting it rebuilt from a local guy. trying to get all the mechanical crap done then the tube stuff.

that's a good Question it took a little bit to put together alot of grinding and welding to get to look nice and smooth. I was going to bring some pics down to local fab shop to get some prices just to see how much something like this would be. I have 50 in lights and had all the steel laying around. I would think you could spend 150 or so just in steel with prices these days.

What would you pay for one???

That's a sweet plate bumper. Nice work. I have considered building one in place of the tube bumper I'm running. Maybe on my next truck.

on the scale it said 74 lbs with winch it will be another 80-100 lbs

the springs, curious to see how much if any it sags with the winch in as well
I plan on making one simular to(copy) yours for a 8274 is why I ask
if you have ever lifted one you know the 8274 is a heavy mellon farmer

the only thing i noticed was the front being a little heaver when steering but not to much sag considering there was the tin bumper on it before. but there no winch in it yet i did put a bag of concrete on it and it wasn't much. i run 5" marlins springs and i haven't had any problem yet. i guess a good set of springs goes along way. need any more info or pics let me know.

i started with a $450 miller 220v welder about 3 years ago and taught myself its not that hard just take your time

thanks went down to local 4-wheel drive shop to get a price on fabing one up and he told me he didn't even want to do it because it would cost to much money. kinda funny
