Why did you decide to go 1/4 elliptical?  Looking good though.

Any particular reason that you are planning to use a Centerforce clutch rather than a Marlin?  :headscratch:  I just installed a  :turtle: 1600-lb (Super Heavy Duty) and it feels great.  Also, when I was looking at clutches I noted that the Centerforce technology (i.e. cantilevered weights that increase clutch pressure at higher rpm) are not used in the Toyota applications due to space.  I will look on-line and post the a link if I can find the information again.  Great looking ride  :driving:
1989 4Runner: Dual Ultimate (Inchworm front & Marlin 4.70 rear), Marlin Twin Stick, 1200-lb clutch, 4.88 R&P, Aussie Front, Detroit rear, 30-spline Longs, Long hub gears, ARP hub and knuckle studs & 35x12.50 Cooper STT PRO tires.  Marlin rear bumper & sliders.  FROR front bumper.  SAS with Alcan springs & Rancho 9000XL shocks.  Budbuilt Bolt-on traction bar.  Custom Interior Cage by Those Guys Rod and Customs.

Moab Tested & Rubicon Approved

Wow you really need to do something about that pinion angle  :gap:

What's up with the frame?

absoultely nothing. I just don't want to take everything off of it to put coils on it. I have another frame here so I can start over on a clean slate. I'm using coils off a ford aerostar work van. they are super long!

Depends on the weather.
If it is nice I can go and strip the other vehicle to get the other frame out from under it and then throw down on it.

UNBREAKABLE

I want it to be completly finished when it rolls out the shop doors for the first time. To the point of there being nothing else to upgrade.

Started the teardown of the other truck(the one I'm robbing the frame from) today. Last night I got one of my W-56's tore down completly (now it's time for the 2nd one to get it) soon heading to Charlotte to get the gears Cryo'd! Also getting my WFO HD Dana 60 Arms, u-joints, D60 shafts, and T-case gears done. I pulled my 7M-GTE tonight and put it back on the engine stand 'til I get my rig out of the garage and the new frame in there. A buddy of mine found another Supra at a local junk yard today, might go get it(depending on engine condition). I am going junkyardin' this week to see if I can't find some more Toyota tranny's and find some Aerostar coils(2 from the passenger model and 2 from the work model) I might stumble across some 60's, you never know 'round here
I will do a better job of taking pics step by step this time too.....
