87 SAS build up- new rig
« on: Nov 06, 2010, 11:49:04 PM »
hey yall i thought id start one thread of my whole truck instead of starting new ones everytime i did something to it lol. Its gonna be slow, hinging on money as always. the plans for it are sas, 5.29s with ARBs f/r, 35s maybe 37s, it will be a DD so well just have to see. anyways- here she is.

about a week after i bought it, i painted the rims black. oh and this was also with a newer door and fender because the PO flopped it about 3 weeks before i bought it.
these pics were taken about a month after i got it.

interiors real clean

low miles

had a huge exhaust leak and barely any muffler so i took it to a shop and they threw a flowmaster 40 on.

so i drove it like that for a while. then my brother said he had some 33s he was giving away. only 2 matched, but i was like hell yea! i really didnt like the look of a 4 inch lift with 31s. so i bought some procomp rockcrawler rims and slapped em on.

I say bob it or leave it and run the  :pokinit: out of it. I just like the way bobbed beds look, especially on single cabs. But some people like the longbed for putting all your stuff in.
