Thanx for the welcome Mike D..Even though I'm a jeep freak,I still have appreciation for toyotas. They're awesome rigs,I've owned an 81,two 84s,an 86,and an 87.My brother is YOTAon40s,and my dad has a really nice 81.I usually help work on both of them,so I'm allways around toyotas.

So what was the experience that converted you to a Jeep freak, I am always curious.  I went from a '90 YJ to a '81 Toyota, best decision my dad ever made for me!
in the projects nooga, anything goes

TTF Fabrication, what's up?,it wasn't any experience that made me go to Jeep.In fact,I had nothing but good experiences with my toyotas.First I owned an 81,then an 84,and then an 87,but I was 17 when I got my 81,and wasn't as much into wheeling as I am now.I didn't really have as many friends that were into the sport as I do now,and I hated going solo. Then,in late 96,when I was 19,I bought a 91 YJ with a four banger and 36s.It was really nice but thats about it,but I loved the attention it got.It was a chick magnet, and I just kinda stuck with jeeps. The one I have now is an 89,and I've had it,built it,and wheeled it hard for 5 years now,but I will be the first to say that they're real weak.I've had 3 different setups on it,and I've almost got it to where I really want it now.But I'm also damn near $20k into it,including the 2 previous setups, when I know that for less then half of that,I could have had an awesome yota :smack:.about 2 years ago,I bought a mildly built 84,and started ading on to it,but couldn't afford to have 2 projects,so I sold it.  Amen.

I only have a Marlin Crawler shift knob that I installed myself, but someday I will install a Turtle sticker somewhere too

I used to hang out at www.myMR2.com before some yako from southern cali hacked in and crashed the whole website. He had a thread about how he was putting a YJ 4.0 engine into his 1985 MR2, and everyone knew it would never fit and they made fun of him, so he left the site just 1 day before it crashed. Everyone knows it was that guy. I think he said his zip code was 92543 or something...

It took you a while, but you eventually saw the light and came back to the yota scene. ;)  So I guess for that you should get a welcome back!   :clap2: :welcome:

But I must admit those were some fun times on that Jeep.
