Any guy who takes his woman wheeling enjoys her. A woman who is owned is left at home to cook, clean, and keep beer cold. So if this offends you you should stop looking and go have some tacos.    :rofl2: And a beer. If your old enough.   :beerchug:

I want just a simple main hoop, a pillars, x on top, windshield bar, and some tubing to protect the front fenders. I don't wanna cover the bed cause it's heavy and I know I will eventually make a tube bed or something.

Got the whole runner body completely stripped today. I'm gonna pull the body today noon and clean the hell out my frame, cases and motor. Also gonna weld a few things I couldn't get to with the body on. I have pics but my computer won't connect to the internet. I have to use moms computer but it has Windows Vista and I can't figure out how to load the pics onto her computer. lol

I got the cab on today, gusseted my shock hoops and front crossmember . Boxed in the rear of my frame, welded a bunch of stuff I couldn't get to with the runner body on, and got under the hood all wired back up. I'm gonna try and get the whole interior put in tomarrow.

Naw, I wish I could go but I need to get a new tranny and clutch, ordering a Marlin HD tomorrow. After that there is a lot of little :pokinit: I want to fix before I hit the trail again. Prolly going to be a month or two before the 4runner is wheeling again. If you stop by in Grass Valley on the way hit me up, we could kick or or grab some grub or something either on the way up or way back. I should be in town and not working next weekend unless I get a last minute "pack your bags and go to the airport" memo lol

Thanks man. I actually started building a flat bed today. lol I just mounted my tool box behind the cab and I'm going to go buy a sheet of diamond plate and weld that on the frame. After I get money for tubing I'm gonna do my exo and turn the flat bed into a tube bed.

"Later, I learned that even though I engage 4WD my hubs are not automatically locking? Something about manual locking hubs I think. What's manual mean? I need to read a manual to lock them? lol  So I found these neat autolocking hubs and installed them. Sometimes they dont stay locked while I am backing up, but that's fine because I dont have a backup camera to see where Im going (like our RV) so I just simply dont ever back up"- BigMike

The bed. My cooler and big black box fits perfect on there. So tool box for tools/parts and pretty much all my camping gear fits in the black box. I just need to figure out where to mount my High Jack now.

Dash is in I just need to put my radio in and put the last few plastic pieces on.

All my A/C stuff is on except my pump. I'm gonna get that on tomarrow.

That cage... Umm... it got pretty hammered the last few weeks I had the runner. Both a pillar bars bent along with the "headache bar" ha ha (the bar across the top of the windshield). It was pretty much useless when I was done so I took it to scrap metal.

makin quick progress, looks good.

are you gonna make anything that covers the top of the tires? or mudflaps for it?

idk what your black bow looks like, but you could make an L shaped bracket that would put the hilift over one of teh tires maybe :dunno: not super far out, but enough to clear your cooler and black box
