just got back from the con, another shitty adventure in the tow rig. had to have my dad meet me to come tow my trailer because my truck took a :pokinit:.

the crawler did good though. talked to anther pre 75 hilux owner, his was way less built though. still badass, had the orig 18rc engine too

fuel pump i think, its a POS. hes alot of money into his rental house so once thats out of the way he gets to spend money on the truck

ok finally have an update. ive been really busy working on it lately. got the old motor out and sold, cut the front tube work off for the new engine. once i finally ordered the bellhousing things started moving along, got the motor mounts done, had to move the pan-hard from frame mount on the pass side to frame mount on driver side due to going back to a steering box. got a steering box out of a t100 and have it mocked and ready to weld. ran a steering shaft. new shock hoops and remounted the air bumps. made a mount for my PS pump and also made a catch can for the resi. ill post as i get stuff done. i still cant permanently mount the engine until i get a custom flywheel and some sort of 3.0 clutch. also have to get a new radiator since the inlet/outlet are opposite of the 2rz. enjoy

clearances are tight, had to offset the axle an inch one way to get everything to fit

the bell housing im running for the 1uz. had to cut 5/8" off the slave mount so i could use my clutch fork instead of theres

added some tubes from the cowl bar to the frame for more strength and also the window bars

tried to step up my game on my wiring. that is 90% of my wiring

took some pics of the exhaust. got the fenders and grill mounted up, also made a bumper.
started it up in the truck with the exhaust, its actually quieter than the rz engine, but the motor sound pretty wicked revved up. ill get some pics of the bumper tomorrow
