Holy That is terrible. My cousin had a baby that got traumatic brain damage from her boyfriend beating it. He is rotting in jail as we speak, and this kid shall do the same. He needs his beat. I hope they try him as an adult.

this video is completely horrific.
i cant even understand what kind of entertainment these two young kids were trying to get out of this....
having a niece and nephew..... and if someone did that to them, i wouldnt allow them to leave my house without some WELL DESERVED punishment.

I agree with the rest of your post but I don't think screening videos really has anything to do with it. If anything, this type of thing just shows that scum bags that are stupid enough to commit a crime on film, will eventually turn themselves in without even knowing it. Think back to that case of the girl getting gang beat by her peers. While "screening" the videos would also lead these types of people to get caught, but that is a massive undertaking to screen every video that gets posted. I think youtube is turning out into a great means for idiots to incriminate themselves doing terrible crimes. I think it works out great, all it takes is someone (could be you, could me be, could be some 13 year old girl) to see one of these videos and report it or flag it. then youtube passes that info along to the authorities. great system that wasnt even created as a means of catching criminals, yet its quickly becoming a great tool.

Myspace is the same way. It has become an excellent tool for law enforcement everywhere. I was at a party recently and I talked to this dip and he was trying to act cool while he told me how when he was 17 he posted pictures all over myspace of alcohol and weed in his room and then he had pictures of him with an illegal sawed off shot gun. Cops used all that as evidence and he ended up serving a few months in Juvi for it. Myspace has been a big help with catching pedophiles and predators too.

People are stupid, and cases like this just further prove that point.

Seriously?  Idiots are idiots, and thinking that a tv show needs to be changed or censored so people won't emulate it is as bad as all the idiodicy with trying to ban certain video games because people think they leed to ill acts.  Stupid people make bad decisions, no matter what outside influence they recieve!

I don't know about that. Yes, it's stupid to think that a TV show could affect a rational thinking persons judgment but when we were kids my cousins were allowed to watch the 3 Stooges and yes, one of them hit the other on the head with a hammer cause it was funny on TV.

That does happen because of things that are seen on TV. I'm not saying they should be censored because of it, most rational people will never imitate what is obviously ridiculous, but there are the small handful that will indeed.
