Chris, we are parking next to each other at Round Up and snapping a quick picture. What is your game plan for running the trail?

Im totally down.....

I wont be leaving chico till about 6pm on fridayt night, wont be getting to loon till like 10pm and plan on going to little sluice and get there by at latest 2am. Next morning leave the box around 9 or so and head to buck island and hang out there for an hr or so and then head to the spring and hopefully get there by like 4-5pm and sunday morning leave home around 8-9am so we can "beat the crowd"

Dang chris, it's lookin pretty good

Sucks on the crossmember, but it'd be cake to weld it back together and beef it up with a piece of strap welded along the outer edge.  You could even add little gussets every now and then along it.  I don't have a paint setup to show what I mean, but hopefully you get what I'm sayin  :dunno:

Ever since you got your last taco I've thought about getting one, and seeing how good this one looks just makes me want one more.  Too bad I haven't found one super cheap around here.
RIP KYOTA

Thanks Nate

I was thinkin about putting some sort of flatbar around the edge of the xmember to beef it up a little. IDk what im going to do yet

Thatd be pretty sick if you got a tacoma. Its nice having a pretty new truck. Theyre still too much $$$ though

Oh do you know if there are any tacomas at the pnp in redding?

I haven't seen any tacos there yet, but I was thinking of heading there on my days off this week and will look then.  I haven't actually been there for several months.

Something on my axle on the driver side was metal on metal and got so hot that it was boiling water when i got home...and it was smoking.

Im guessing the wheel bearings got loose and it was grinding metal on metal on the spindle. Gotta check it out tomorrow.

It was pretty gnar this year for sure.... Its changed a lot since i dropped in there last (i think 2 years ago????)

Only thing I ran into was a sheriff cause they heard complaints of people going off the trail so they brought their polaris ranger up there and cruised around.

Nice to meet you Chris. I totally forgot about getting the picture of our trucks next to each other. Next time I suppose! The flat tan rigs were in full effect this weekend. I think this run was entirely too big to get everyone together to party due to people camping in completely different spots. Next time will be better :)
