Why not build one up and leave it at marlin's place
RIP KYOTA

You can go through life being scared of the possible, or you can have a little fun and tease the inevitable.

Give a man venison, he'll eat for a day. Teach a man to hunt Blacktail, he'll be frustrated for life!

Really, Mark, what are you thinking as far as drivetrain on this one? Or have you thought that far ahead yet...and what is in it now?

Nice find!!  What about the house projects and moving?  Or has that been put on hold?

I'd look into a chev 5.3 V8 swap, those motors are getting some good mpg!  A buddy is getting 20+ in a 1/2 ton 4x4 on the hwy!

I can see it now.  The Willy pulling the Willy!  Would be cheaper on gas than the LBC.  But the LBC has all the creature comforts.  That would be a tough call.
Miss ya Dean (4THEWKN) & Kyle (KYOTA)!!

:dunno:   It looks like a Leroy to me

I do know it's "only" 5.5 hours from the PA tacos!!  Wish we had more free time and money for the weekend.  :(

Can't wait to watch the buildup!  Definitely keep the woodgrain.  And yep...when I looked at it the first thing I thought was Leroy.  He just looks like a stately old gent.
RIP Kyle, we love and miss you man.  :smooch:

So which name do you like the most so far Mark?

I still like mine the most:

THE WILLY WARRIOR (it is a "Willy customs" vehicle (like the Mammoth), and it reminds me of the "gladiator" jeep trucks, hence the name Willy Warrior)

Need some surfboards on the top.

Not sure on color either....

Ooo!  Ooo!  I know!  Go with a lovely shade of brown to complement the woodgrain sides, and then you can call him Bad Bad Leroy Brown!   :yesnod:

It ain't worth doin' if you don't have to clean up afterwards!

Build it, break it, fix it, repeat until your wallet is empty.
