Looks good!  Can't wait for a shake down run at HH...   At least before MCR.

It was very challenging to do to put this back together. I worked on it pretty much all day. I was extra careful not to get my finger near those jack stands again  :yesnod:

Here's a pic of how it looks right now. There is still 1 stitch & the skin it tight.
Warning: Don't open if you can't handle it!

I'm past the infection part of it. It's healed over & closed already but it's hard to move cause it's scabbing. I have to start stretching it out.

Got the shock hoops installed. This time I used the support braces so I don't have to go through this again.

I just finished the 4Runner so I can drive it again  :woohoo: I got the passenger side shock hoop cut off  :flamer: plated the frame  :flamer: cut the passenger side steering stop off  :flamer: installed 2 degree shims & installed a steering stabilizer  :flamer: I took it for a test drive to make sure I didn't have death wobble like I did before & it's gone  :woohoo:

Tomorrow I have to install my old front bumper, start making rear mounts for the All Pro rear bumper I got from Toydanota (  ) & make a template for the front bump stops. If I have time I'm going to redo my rear shock set up cause I get too much body roll. I'll post pic's tomorrow.

:goodnight:

Why did you have to shim the front? Are you concerned about caster problems? Looks good

I had problems. With the front hanger & shackles the pinion eas pushed down too far & if I hit a bump I would great death wobble. I changed them to the factory shackles & the problem was still there just not as bad cause the pinion was now upward more changing the caster. I wanted to run the longer shackles so I could get the most out of the front suspension so I had to add the shims.

I got the measurements so I can start  :flamer: the front bump stops. Got the rear bumper hung & made a template so I can  :flamer: those sometime this week.

Also I had some temp mudflap extensions that got ripped off the last time I went out wheeling. I used the factory mount & lowered the mount down & out as far as I could.

Then I moved the flap down & out to cover the tires. When I get the rear bumper mounted I'm going to make some quick release ones. For now I hope this will be enough to keep me from getting hassled by the fuzz  :crossed:

I have a pic of it in the ER & one a couple of days later. I have 2 pic's ot the tip with the nail still attached in a bottle of saline solution. Even as a spoiler I think they might be too much for some.

The front bumper looks good on the 4Runner.Almost looks like an Australian type front bumper. About to get started on  a SAS on a 4Runner next week, good to know about adding the brace for the front hoops.
