What are you going to do with yours?
Ours will be going to paying bills, but at least we are getting something back.  :clap2:

Probably the same, pay some bills and see if I have any left afterward.

Give a man venison, he'll eat for a day. Teach a man to hunt Blacktail, he'll be frustrated for life!

I have to pay in.  $2571  :(

OUCH!
We changed our payroll deduction to married but filing at the single rate a couple years ago and have been getting significant refunds since then.
Yeah, I know it's just the government holding your money till you get it back but it's nice to get that lump sum bonus every year.

:yesnod:  that's how I look at it too.  People always say to just put money away yourself and it's just like getting a tax refund, but if I start to put it away I'll end up spending it anyway.

Oh yeah, as if. There is no way. That money would have been out the window with all the rest of our money.
Now we can slam a chuck out of the CC and it will feel good.

Married with one child and we have as little taken out as possible.  I take $500 a month and my wife takes $500 a month and we put it into savings and other funds like IRAs and Educational.  We make a lot more money from handling our own money.  You can do this as well with your big tax refund but I would say 90% or more of Americans don't do that.

I'm bummed about how much I'm getting back, at least it is something.  It will go toward paying off my CC.  So then I can buy something on my CC for my Truck.  (think SDS)  :shhh:

I'm paying off the 5+ grand I have left on my GMC. Thats prolly gonna kill out my taxes. Onece I get it paid for I'm taking what I have been paying and getting my wifes car, and the cc paid for. The long term plan is to be debt free other than our current house payment and nessecitys, then buy a new house and rent this one till it sells.  :crossed:
Its not the best plan, but this house wasn't selling when the market was better, now the market for rentals is up, and propertys are going cheaper.

We just got ours yesterday!  E-file and direct deposit is the way to go!!  Just over $5400.  $35 more than last year.  I have to pay out $1576 next week for Zoe's dental visit, the amount that ins. doesn't cover.  And we haven't found out yet on what we owe the hospital yet.  Gonna try to save as much as we can.  In June our contract is up at work and I hope we don't get fubar'd and go on strike.  Then try to put as much as possible on a CC.  Then there is the vacation to Redding for my wifes 20th class reunion!
Miss ya Dean (4THEWKN) & Kyle (KYOTA)!!

I'm expecting $680 that will be the "down payment" on Moab 2008.  Overtime at work will easily cover the rest in the next month.
