This build is coming out great!  I also thought your other build was cool

I like following these international builds and seeing the different styles, scenery and trails :beerchug:

Thanks! I gain most inspiration from this board. In Europe there are not so many builds because of the strict laws... Every single change on our vehicles have to be proofen by a Technical Supervisory Association  :-\

Colt

this weekends progress:

bracket for the roll bar

a good friend welded the bar with blowpipe

another couple of friends helped us

getting the doors together and attached

That pipe is called "siederohr". It is a seamless pipe in 70mm outer diameter and a wall thickness of 3mm. It`s used in the industry for pressure lines.

It is more lightweight as it seems. The CAD say something about 180-200kg for both flatbed and rollbar. The siderails are not that thick (only 2mm). The target weight for the whole truck is 1500 to 1700kg without payload. I`m anxious to the outcome...

Colt

time for todays work:
a buddy stopped over and tried his luck on the wiring harness...

my first engine running on gas. there are huge differences to my diesels  :headscratch:

carburator? Whats this?  :disturbed: but time will tell ;)

but hey, the headlights are working  ::)

finally I made the drawing for the wheel houses

but I hope tomorrow there will be more time to work on the truck...  :crossed:

Colt

that was my weekend:

dashboard went in

after that puzzle i made some progress on the flat

and finished up some smaller things like the air vent

What size tube is that? It looks huge

the siderails are 60mm x 2mm and the roll bar 75mm x 3mm.
