that black looks really thick, or is it just cause its a picture?

Thanks! I like black...

That paint is thick. If you want to spray it you have to add a lot of thinner (about 25-30%).

with damaged treads and a big dent

fixed with fresh sheet steel and weld-in nuts

Tomorrow I will smoothen out the rest with body filler and Sunday I will paint the outside.

3 CAT scans a MRI and some time with the shrink and it's comfirmed. I'm just not right in the head.

yes and yes ;) the outside is matt-finished black, the inside and the flat is/will be shiny black.

I will have to do some parts again because it got wrinkles :headscratch:

took the angle grinder and tack welded it back together:

Sorry for the time without any update. I had to work overtime...    :thumbdown:

After drying the paint turned out real bad.



yet another coating with another mat lacquer (OT: is this the right expression for a not shiny varnish?)





the new paintshop turned out really well!

I hope I will find some time to work on the beast this week...  ::)

Yea I kinda like that paint too, it looks like the hammered rustoleom paint.

I already painted it a second time. Now I`m really pleased...  :yesnod: It looks hammered, so you don`t see the scratches  :thumbs:

close enough, matte is how its spelled here.  I knew what you meant to say.

This build is coming out great!  I also thought your other build was cool :biggthumpup:

I like following these international builds and seeing the different styles, scenery and trails :beerchug:
