Im not really askin anything I just have mojor problems with the electorial college!  Let everone feel like their vote counts!  Get people more interested in whats going on because their opinion counts maybe people would care enough to fix some of the other problems our government has!  Dont get me wronge I love living here and the rights and privledges it comes with.

Everything about the politico process is perplexing if you ask me. I totally don't get this whole primary thing. Every state is different and who cares if a state upped their primary... why did they pull their delegates.. no one I have talked to at work that knows gets that.. no one one gets it... we all agree they only shot themselves in the foot. WT?

If given access to amend the Constitution without opening a Constitutional Convention (I hate to think of what would pop up)...I would do away with the electoral college in a flash. From a logic point...why add another layer of complexity to an already complex situation. And, at least in my mind, THE guiding principle of our nation is...one man, one vote. I get frustrated with the system...but there are so many things I consider more pressing, so I kind of just let it slide.

Regardless of what Diane says...I am not the man. I appreciate the sentiment, but what I don't know could, and does, fill volumes.

I agree there are things much more pressing!   Like the ignorance of people!!  LOL now theirs a can of worms.  Not everyone and I dont ant to seem like an a$$ but ingeneral people like to believe whats easy or what the person with the most persuasive personality has to say.  Not that we dont all fall victim to this just another thing to gripe about.  Like here in kc last year I kept seing sighns vote no to higher taxes say no to #21, then I see a sign vote yes for our kids vote yes to #21  its all about who can manipulate the majority.  Turns out the bill was to build soccer fields and ball parks for kids around the city. I dont think the average person is willing to do the research.   Along the same lines how when a bill goes up to pass it may have a cherry main page, or primary objective, but any crap thing can be slid in it to be passed right along.  If politician A votes no he is voting no to better health care and the people hate him but the bill may also shut down parks and sell crack to kids!  Anyways you get my drift.  now you guyse see why I avoid the political discussions. Maybe I should have followed in my grandfathers footsteps and become a legislator or senator ect.....   Holy crap I will shut up now.   


IMHO people should do their research vote for the best person for the position.  Vote for the most benificial laws, recycle, do nice things for others, smile, and use their heads!   Oh and use a blinker before you cut someone off!   LOL

yes I do...I feel that if the 'true' people of the USA were in the legislature/public office/whatever, we might be able to do something about the current plight of the common man and his place in the world.

That drives me crazy! The Republicans set up so many of their primaries as winner takes all...you should see some of the letters I've written about that.

The last time I checked being Mormon certainly does not mean you are a Christian.

I am 90% certain I am going with Mitt. His business skills are very good and Sean Hannity supports him, so shall I.

The problem is here we go again: I don't know much about McCain's back ground, but Hitlery Clinton, Obama, and Mitt Romney all make great candidates to support the Pope, which is exactly what America needs to do if Bible prophecy is to be fulfilled. Same with Bush or Kerry: It didn't matter who would win, both support the Pope.

It is really becoming scary. The Bible says three things will happen: 1) Church and State need to become one, 2) Protestantism needs to fall, and 3) America needs to rebuild the Catholic church/system.

Anyway you throw the ballot, the ball stays in motion.

The Mormon religion is misunderstood. People think it's still about polygomy. I don't think that HBO series Big Love helped any.

To NOT vote for someone because of their religion is as small minded as you can get. I remember, even as a young child, what a stir JFK caused..."We can't vote for a Catholic...and an Irish Catholic at that". And the fact that Huckabee worked this angle like a chicken wing, caused me to discount any possibility of voting for him.
btw...it's Mormon not Morman.
