time for some updates i guess  :yesnod: i have been so busy with work i have had no time for the toyota but i have this whole weekend set aside for build time  :clap: i will be tearing the 1st gen apart since i finally have some time... i will have the axles hung in the third gen this weekend as how i am building templates for all my brackets.... I also picked up my 2rz a month or so ago with harness and all the goodies... i have a r150f v6 trans that i will be using if i can ever dig up the money for the marlin bellhousing and adapter to run my double 4cyl cases....for now i picked up the bellhousing for the 2rz to bolt up to the w series trans  :thumbs:

the shackle tube for the front springs? im not sure right off but its some weird metric size... i got the tubes from marlin i believe.....

ok so this weekend I finally made some time to get to work on the truck with the help of some  :beer:  :beer: we got the bed removed (for bobbing, dovetailing and comp cutting) I also got the dash removed so I can access and get to work on the wiring for my 2rz.... I will post some pics up later when I get a chance.. I will probley be workin on the bed this evening get it bobbed and cut up....  :beerchug:

k well i got the front clip chopped off and the bed removed for bobbing and dovetailing.... i have been sick the past couple days so i havent been doing anything too technical.... I have been digging into wiring a little more getting things removed for the 2rz harness to be wired in and started cleaning things up on the firewall.... i will borrow a camera tonight and snap a few pics.... im getting excited now  :thumbs:

Finally I have made some decent progress on my build as I took a day off work and devoted it to working on the toyota... I finally have the front end hung under it (just waiting for my new welder gun to weld it) I also got the dash removed and all the bees nests and spider webs cleaned out so I can begin the wiring of my 2rz swap... I have also been working on my bed as I am bobbing, dovetailing, and comp cutting the bed as well as fixing all the pecker dents all over it to prep it for paint..I will be pulling the bed back off the truck tonight so I can begin installing my 5" all pro springs and my axle out of my donor 1st gen... I have a few other small tasks while I have the bed removed for the final time such as relocating the fuel tank to the rear of chassis rails and I will be mounting my batteries somewhere near the stock fuel tank location under the bed floor... just small stuff but it needs to be done... once I get my bed finished up I will begin rebuilding my front core support (1" x 1" tube) as my core was trashed from the previous owner wrecking the truck... here come some pics finally  :beer: :beer:

All I am using of the back part is just the tail-light frame part of it since it will be comp cut and dovetailed as well as bobbed... lots of cutting..

and now a shot of it sitting on all 4 tires.... too bad only the front is lifted so far I will be hanging the rear springs this weekend hopefully.... I also really need to hurry up and remove the body lift  :thumbdown: I hate body lifts... It is slowly coming along

I got the rear all torn down this weekend and got my All pro rear leafs mocked up.... I also worked some more on my bed... I think I am going to go ahead and cancel the dovetail project till I get my tubing bender then I will just buy 2 new bedsides and pin them on the cage.... I will go ahead and finish the bob and comp cut then let my buddy fix the dents and get it painted up for me....  :yupyup: I hope to get some spare time this week to get the rear suspension and axle mounted up

I got the rest of my parts off the 1st gen and got her taken to the scrap yard  :rivers: it was sad to see it go since I have had it for so long... but now I have all my parts free and ready for placement in the 3rd gen  :yupyup: Here are a few new pics of my parts ready to go in their new home

yes indeed!!! i am busy as we speak building the rear spring hangers and waiting for my buddy to drop off the shackle hangers for my rear springs so hopefully I can get the rear end all mocked up this evening after work... :yupyup: I am building some pretty beefy rear spring hangers with some rock protection for the springs... I will post up some pics when I make it home to my camera  :beer: :beer:

GOT THE REAR SPRINGS AND AXLE HUNG UNDER THE TRUCK FINALLY  :clap: I CUSTOM BUILT THE SPRING HANGERS AND USED SOME SKY MFG. SHACKLE HANGERS SINCE MY STOCK 3RD GEN SHACKLE HANGERS WERE TOO WIDE TO RUN MY 1ST GEN SHACKLES.... :smack: WELL NOW SHES SITTING ON ALL 4 35" BOGS....  :woohoo:
