yeah sheet metal sucks but you should do that the whole u joint chillin the your elbow thing is scary haha

well i got to work on swapping rear axles out got the old one out and the new one under there just gott a go exchange my hardware the bolts i got were a little to long.... i should be all finished up with it tomorrow so i will get pics up :D

well i finished up the axle a few days ago I'm digging it alot i will get some pics up when i get it outside again....

i need to get my xmember before i build my tranny tunnel... and marlin is all out of the budbuilt budlite xmember so i think i'm gonna end up buying trail-gears :(

if you were going to spend 250 just buy it directly from budbuilt. sky has them too..

sky doesnt make them for 79-83 you can use skys crossmember but i would have to weld the plates to the frame and i dont wanna do that

I e-mailed budbuilt and they said it would be 260 and about a 2 or so week wait that and budbuilt is on the east coast so shipping would be $$$

I would just say buy trail-gears... How can they Eff that up? and you could just go to robs to order it its less in shipping usually depending though.

yeah i emailed one of the guys from superior off road in gresham he said he could order it and have it in a couple days and it would be $195 which isnt bad considering if i ordered it myself it would probably be 240 after shipping

okay so ordered my crossmember today.

now onto my todo list before 4th of july at browns.... some things i dont have to do i just want to

*install crossmember
*sheet metal tranny tunnel
*make new rear driveline
*reinstall seats
*install 4 point harnesses
*make new shock mounts for rear
*move gas tank into bed
*maybe some rock lights :sly:
*install speakers
*cut front fenders so tires dont rub when flexin
*install knuckle ball kit
*install front axle upper gusset
*bleed brakes and maybe install steelbraided extended lines

buy lots and lots of alcohol and  :camping:  :drunk:  :thud:

well i installed the axle truss, the knuckle ball service kit, and got the crossmember and installed it also

rebuilt my front leaf packs now my truck sits about 3 inches taller than it was in the front... still got some work to do though

*install crossmember.... DONE
