yeah they like to bounce alot unless you have beadlocks and at like 2 lbs.

thats one of the reason's i went with 40" MTR's. That and the fact that i wanted somethin that would drive decent on the road too

once i got irocs i drove it a couple times and saw other peoples irocs wear down to fast so i sad screw it i'm trailering from now on haha

my motors knocking after goat STUPID MUD BOGS lol

its not an all the time knock just every once in awhile a quick rev will give you a knock

So rebuild? any one have a preference on rebuild kits? and how much?

or i could always find another 22r on craigslist. lol

some one told me about some kit for like 250 or something for pistons and everything ill find out in the morn and let you know exactly what  it is

tanner the one in this new truck is a hyrbid 22r and 20r its pretty sick. But i don't know if he's selling the motors or not. And a good rebuilt kit is from engin builder... not sure on the price but my dad was going to teach me how to rebuilt my old motor and thats where I was told to go for one. He deff knows his stuff.

I vote 7mgte    its a sick engine when you are not having afm problems

haha. I vote you run a 22r 20r head and pane it... Keep it somewhat reliable but have some power.. Engin builder is deff legit ryan. If you talked to him you would probably be lost the first 3 words he says. He's like arland the guy that owns led the place I picked my quad motor up from but with toyotas.

yeah the hybrid 22r/20r is a nice setup.  I ran that in my orange truck for about three years. It had alot of power and ran real smooth.

I'm not trying to win a damn race lol...for all you guys that say 3rz 2rz 7mgte etc etc... if you knew me you would understand that i don't like wiring what so ever i'm pretty handy with it but i dont like having alot of it... i just like the plain and simple 22r or 20r... i will be propane one day..

Matt really what was done to them??? I know the owner of dunetech kaloni... and he runs LED motors in his yfz and loves them. I just had my 250r motor bored ported polished head gasket delete and an o ring in its place cool head supposed to be running 250 ish lbs of compression. 87 bottom end 86 piston and a crank spacer.... he said its reliable but if I dumped that much money into another shitty motor im going to rage.

i had a yfz450... i know kalani too.... but i wont say anything... i had new crank rod piston port polish valves valve springs cams, everything.... shatered 2 pistons and spun the cam gear of the cam once.... everything was aftermarket in it

gay I know arland is a 250r freak and my buddy has a 370 powervalve dyno'd at 70 somethin horse and its fairly reliable if he doesnt have it at a stupid high compression so we'll see.
