yeah i lowered it like 2-3 inches down and it still makes the sound just not nearly as bad. lets just say it was a noisy ride haha.

nice build man

I don't know why i haven't found this until now but you've done a nice job cleaning up that truck.  Hopefully we can all meet up down at browns camp here in a few weeks.

I'm currently helping a friend of mine build up his 80 truck that looks very similar to yours.  He's hopeing to do duals with rears up front mazda's how back and 39.5 IROKs.

How do you like the new tires.  The IROKS have got to be my favorite tires I've owned.

thanks man
yeah always like wheelin w/ new people :)
i'm liking the iroks i only have 1 trip on them so i cant be a critic yet lol.

gotrocks

well I'll tell you from personal experience.  I've had the SSR's and IROKs .  The IROKS's will BLOW AWAY the SSR's performance.  Especially in the snow.  I don't know how much snow you wheel in but they are awesome in the snow.  The rocks also make the IROK's shine.

toyotanner

yeah the only thing that the ssr really has on the iroks is street performance i had my ssr's for a year and drove all the time and could hardly tell they had worn.

but so far i'm liking the iroks for sure... i like the tread pattern better too. still havent aired down with them either

gotrocks

They are a whole new tire once aired down.

My love of the iroks is from a offroad stand point only.  I don't drive mine on the street.  I have Toyo MT's for that.

crawlerdan

whan are you going to show me the not stoopid part of browns camp??

Having a 12 second Honda is just like coming out of the closet; You're going to surprise a bunch of people, but in the end you're still gay.
