well i went wheeling last weekend but before i did i fixed my motor mount problem which was not what i thought it was.... it turned out to be that the bracket that comes off the motor and connects to the motor mount was lose. the bolts were backed off like a 1/2 inch EEK! so i wrenched those down and took it up wheelin! And i think theres something chattering around in my t-case it started making a funny noise.

If its not one thing its another!!!  LOL
Life is too short!!!   Do something with it!!!

toyotanner

thanks man.

i got some work done finally got new exhaust put on 2.5 to glasspack above frame for the most part. and patched a hole in the floor wooooohooooo!

toyotanner

i took the bed off today cause i'm going wheelin this weekend. and my tire hits my bed so i dont want it to flip me over. i figured while its off i should bob and dovetail it. and.... i got one side of my rocksliders done.

i also ordered my axel truss and diff armor on wednesday.

toyotanner

OHHH!!! and i got a set of 4 point harnesses. and a lock right for the front. i have a set of 5.29s i just need to get another set and install kits. hopefully i will be buying longfields with my taxes :D

i agree

toyotanner

oh yeah and browns camp definately sucked. when the plowed the roads up there they left like a 3 ft snow bank in front of all the roads that lead to the good trails it sucked!!!! and it wasn't just anysnow it was like snowcone snow just ice jiblets stacked 3 ft tall... yeah i said jiblets lol.

i was sad to see that one of my marlin sliders was not so perfect from the factory.:( one side of the slider was up higher than the other no big deal though because maybe the rocks will smash it straight

i have a picture of the sliders installed but photobucket is being DUMB!

TheCookieMonster

sliders look good!!! im waiting until i have a tube bender to do all my cage, bumpers, sliders....me and a few buddies are goin in on a bender someday :beerchug:

yeah its having the room for a tube bender thats a problem haha.

It's being able to afford tubing that's a problem...

as you can see i got some work to do.

i took out my 3rds and took them to a local shop called robs off road today to get my 5.29s and lockright put in. surprisingly my birfields looked like they were brand new. i'm trying to get a little extra cash this weekend and order longfields and put them in when i put my axles together.

I also got my new rims with 2 1/4 offset woohoo i cant wait to turn :)

i'm also gonna rebuild my packs cause my front ones are getting a little saggy. and i'm gonna put some extra leaves in the rear and take out the overload of the s10 springs and should be good

Yota87Truck

Where did you get the toyota rear end cover thing... sorry I don't know what they are called...

toyotanner

its a front axle truss for a toyota. i got it from sky manufacturing you can get it online.

Yota87Truck

Toyota Front Axle Truss

Part # TOY-FAT-001
Price - $23.50ea.
Sky's front upper axle truss helps strengthen the Toyota stamped steel axle housing. By positioning the truss on the top of the axle, you don't loose any ground clearance, compared to bulky under the diff style truss'. Constructed of 1/8th inch steel, formed and laser cut, with the Toyota logo. No grinding or fitting is needed, this truss fits exactly like it was a factory part!

Is it really only 25 dollars???
