Just had an earthquake a few minutes ago, no magnitude yet, located east of fremont.

Stay safe.  East cost not shaken.  everyone thinks they are safe over here but we have a rather large fault line here in VA.  We had a small quake last year my wife felt it at her school but I was driving and felt nothing.

i felt it, they said its the calaveras fault, near alum rock in san jose....

im in fremont

pots and pans swayed as did the blinds and i could see liquid swaying in its bottle

Most the time when people say "did you feel that earthquake", my response is along the lines of "huh, what earthquake?"

Seems to me that since it's been soooo long, the s/e Bay is in for something bigger :dunno:

yup, there is suppsoed to be a magnitude 10.0 within a span of 30 years... and this was predicted back in 1989 after the loma prieta..... by my math, we are a few years over half of that 30 year span
