The PT isnt too bad, you get use to it after a while. As long you dont get into a unit that is a bunch of PT studs you are fine. Make sure to work on some Push ups and sit ups.

:psss: If you are referred to the Army by someone currently in the Army (you have to bring it up to the recruiter) they get a little pocket $. I know if I got some $ for referring someone I'd share  :wink2:

My biggest suggestion to people is pick a job you will enjoy, and pick a job that transfers to the civilian world.

I have come to the conclusion that Doctor's are like mechanics, You go to them with 1 problem, and they find worse one.

So I had a small accident at work last week. Long story short I was sling loading some equipment and got some wipe lash on my calf from the sling. So after a little time on crutches plenty of ice packs and Motrin I was good. Or so I thought. A few days later my calf was hurting again, a different kind of hurt. After a few more days I went and had the Dr. take a look at it. He sent me to get a ultra sound in fear of a blood clot. Good news, no signs of a blood clot. The new Dr. Decided to take a X-ray of the area just to make sure nothing else was wrong. This is where the new problem was found. A Large bone cyst at the base of my tibia. It appears the cyst has been there for some time and was not brought on by the accident last week. So from now on I am wearing a foot brace and will need surgery when I get home.  :sad2:

Nah, with my luck, until I ship back to the states with my unit, They will find stuff for my to do during work hrs. Regardless I will need to be at work sitting doing nothing. I hate being/ feeling useless

Hopefully this gets fixed good when I get state side.

So in a round about way, it is good that initiall injury occured otherwise you would not know about the more serious one.

Good Luck!
