alright... i have the electric windows right now on doors, would i be able to keep the same door and swap the inners to a crank? i have all the inner for both, same wing window and all. is it possible?

im about to go swap some little here and there and figured it was worth a shot in asking that

Yeah casue the skin and everything is the same. It should work.

Why not just throw the new runner doors directly on the black runner and then just get some paint and paint the whole thing?

got some swapped over. its already looking more clean. i finished off a crack on something for the arm rest in the middle, but its got gorilla glue and silicon on it and ill throw that on weds. i got my tail gate to shut all the way again. its nice. got the guts of one window swapped out and it just bolted right in. it was tits. cant work on it tomorrow due to school for 12.5 hours but weds its back to swapping . i took some before pics. ill get some after pics later on when my cam battery is charged...but im likin the work. learning while i go. fun

swapping was pretty damn easy, kinda fun but enough to like it. i would rather swap the innards and keep my DD doors same color. but i thought about painint it gun metal grey but im not sure. if i do its gunna be a summer job when the paint can bake a good long time here. when the nights the lows are in the upper 80 its gunna dry good

Its all about the Shoe-Goo Dude.
Works way better than silicone.
Drys harder, sticks better, comes in clear or black, and easier to clean up.

Im planning on repainting my whole truck this summer too,
Mines "Pewter Metallic" Looks good when theyre not rock rash and brush-scratches messin it all up...

o another update on i got done today... bleed the brakes, stops on a dime its so nice. and something else i did but i just forgot... o i remember now. im stoked on it, i got my windshield washer reservoir patched and put back in. the pile doesn't leak anymore , you (the ready) have no idea how stoked i am on it and having that stuff again. it sucks not being able to see when you need to

on weds i will more or less be parking it in my backyard for good and this is what i will be taking off forsure right now:

inner panels
seats
maybe carpet just to keep it clean and dry
doors
swap the inners from the crank door to my door
rear axles
make plans to shave the rear axle and swap them out later on
not sure what else right now, but thats a good list to start with
