ya so this is  bull :pokinit: i just went to take my tanks out to get them filled and the reason i ran out is because kamps sold me a bad tank.  the tank is still half full and nothing comes out the nossel.  it will come out the bleader screw and the gauge says 1/2.  so pissed when i saw that.  i didn't notice it last night because the tanks were covered with gear so i couldn't see the gauge.

Yea i'm glad we cruised out Saturday night to beat the crowd.. besides the night wheeling was a blast.

Here are my pictures, and I did a short write up on our trip in my build up thread. It was great seeing some new faces and catching up with the others.

From what I heard, the truck with his stuff, including his insulin, was stuck at Big Sluice. We passed them going up Old Sluice on our way in from Buck.

Well, we woke up at Robbs (really nice cabins by the way) I unloaded my truck, drove it 500 feet and it died, sounded like fuel starvation again, Willy Mammoth, Duffil, DJ, and everybody there discovered my alternator was toast. I took a trip to Placerville and got a new one from Kragens (high quality with stripped threads in the top hole) slapped that in and it worked perfect. So after holding everybody up getting to the trail we finally made it, aired down, and hit the trail. I almost made it to Gatekeeper when I hear a call over the CB "Dan just grenaded his transfer case". So I went back to the first step to see Dan with his front tires up on the ledge and all hope lost for him. So while we towed him back to the staging area the ladies cleaned up the transfer case fluid. Dan & Betty distributed their stuff with the other rigs, got seats and we were almost off again when OldYellerCJ said that his brakes were being crappy. Well, crappy ended up being non existant. So I hooked a strap on the back of OldYellerCJ and acted as brakes for him back to the staging area. After getting back to Robbs we decided to hit every parts store within 50 miles to find a new master cylinder. Long story short, nobody had anything. We stayed one more night at Robbs and headed off Saturday morning. We loaded OldYellerCJ on my trailer, Dan had his jeep on his trailer, and OldYellerCJ drove my Toyota all the way back to Tracy. He was doing 70mph on Highway 50 (with a square rear driveshaft) when I finally caught up to him to let him know how fast he was going, he had a look like  I'm really surprised the driveshaft held the whole way. So now the Jeep is in my yard awaiting parts from Duffil which he'll get later this week. That's about it, except yesterday we were kinda worried because we couldn't get a hold of anyone in our group. But it turns out they are all OK.

"does anybody have pics from the flop of the truck helping tow drew out?

i dont know his m.c. name off the top of my head"

if we are talking about drew in the white 3rd gen, then beau flopped, and hes fine, they got back to chico last night early in the morning.  drew, colby and i all got a cabin last night for $50 in meeks bay and colby and i cruised back this afternoon, grant is coming from chico with wilsons trailer to get drew, so hell be home this evening.

for me, i have a lot of work ahead of me, i need a new spring, center pin, xcase housing, new axles, going full hydro, and building a skidplate so none of this happend again.  should be ready to go by next weekend

also i had to leave some stuff at the box because we ended up going out through the end instead of going back down the trail.  im missing a bag of clothes, 2 cots, 2 sleeping bags, blakets, a dog bed, and a large water jug.  it was located up high on the slap above the box, if anyone picked these up i would like them back.  PM me please.

other than that, it was a AWESOMELY GREAT trip!
