I toasted my front spring bushings, lost my power steering for most of the trip till it magically came back,  and took out a fender flare on a tree trying to let traffic get around me.

Yea it hydrolocked, but not going to fast, just pulling in and sunk!!  Should have turned it off faster!  Really didn't think it was in trouble - not in very deep!  Go figure.  Lesson learned!

Lets see...
1 trailer tire shredded
1 ECU fried
1 dented gas tank
1 fuel pump "shortened" due to gas tank bendage
1 front driveshaft
1 BIG dent in the bottom of the rear differential
Something that looks to be oil is leaking from somewhere

That doesn't look like part of the trail I went through.  Were you even supposed to be driving in that?  If you weren't, would it be prudent to get pictures of your truck somewhere it shouldn't be off the internet?

That is the river crossing going over to the "Dirty Dozen" campground.

I have never heard that. If fact a couple of years ago I drove a woman from the El Dorado Water District down to test the water and she asked me to drive across so she could do some testing. That is one of the biggest campgrounds on the property.

P.S. to the guy who hydroded his engine, Toyota's breath behind the DS headlight. One of the first mods I did to my truck was to move it. Boy was your Dad pissed at you!!!!!! The word idiot was spoken quite a few times!!!!!!!!

Here is how I modified mine.

I totally forgot! I broke my barbecue at Buck Island.  the solder melted apart that holds the propane tube together.  I had to borrow drill bits from the Mammoth (i had a cordless drill and no bits) and bolt it together on saturday morning.  :hammerhead:

From the picture, it doesn't look like you were crossing in the right location.

Yep a little to far - like 5 feet to the right.  Yes dad was and still is pissed.  But hey...accidents do happen and god knows this was not on purpose!  Way to much time spent getting the thing up and running.
