Nope, no problems at all.  The only thing that I need to add right now is hydro-assist.  Tom Allen at psc is working on that right now for me.  Otherwise it was pretty uneventful on our way down and up Cadillac Hill.  It was really cool though.  I love it up there.  It's just such a long a$$ drive up there from Orange County.

Next time you gotta do the whole trail, it'll make that long drive worth every minute.

Yeah, thats the plan for next year.  It looks like those that ran the whole thing had alot of fun.  Although it was a long drive it was still worth it.

good trip - I just brought my 80 series in from Tahoe. I think there were only two 80s. Met god people. We sealed our doors shut coming down cadillac. Other than that we had two twisted ankles between Kevin and I. Chopping wood for the BBQ got rid of the hangover. I did an underwater beerbong at high noon in the springs. Hey Sid, whats up?  You did an awsome job with your 4Runner.  eah when I get up there in your area again, I'll give you a call and we'll meet up again.

Tell Phil I said thanks for taking some pics.  I didn't get a chance to take one picture all weekend.

You'll need to bring your 4Runner down here some time and try out wheeling SoCal style.  Not as pretty as up there but just as fun.

Friday:

At the gas station at 4:00am... trying to get gas into the tank of the Migo.. needless to say, after paying for almost 6.5 gallons, we only got around 5 gallons in the tank.  The Filler neck is cracked

Pulled the filler neck off at Robbs before we hit the trail, tried to repair it with RTV, electrical tape and duct tape... didn't work So I'll replace it before too long... specially if I plan on taking it anywhere

I was in a so called rollin tin can. It was my friends, I didnt get mine all buttoned up in time for the trip so I bumbed a ride. I dont have pics yet or id post em. But ya It was a smashed up grey first gen with a kinda sort of flat bed. Im suprised that we didnt have any problems. We were rollin a lot of stock parts, But ya we made her out a ok.

After driving all of our rigs around from Tahoma to Icehouse, BLINGN parked at the bottom and Me, Snowshoebrue and RUGER took off up to get the tow rigs.  I was on empty at the bottom of IceHouse but still made it to loon.  Bout 3 feet from the trailer my tie rod dropped CRAZY!!!! I know my guardian angels were workin OVERTIME for me that night.

Made it to the bottom of Icehouse around 2am, slept till 6:40am and took off.  Had to get a pic of mom pumping fuel... her truck doesn't like to accept fuel, so we made it a little easier for her



After breaking down in Matt's tow rig bout 1/4 mile from home and long story short, towing that home too,



The front of our house looked like hickville Oh yeah, we pulled up with our rigs, and who shows up but none other than 83yotacrawler! He just happened to be driving by when we were unloading.  He didn't make it to the roundup, and unfortunately didn't get a pic of him when he stopped by, but he's a cool guy

nice pics!!  I'll be there next year for sure     I didn't want to miss this one, but it turned out to be a good thing I did.  I spent most of the weekend sick

Thanks.  The hoop was not what broke... the hoop is only there because I used it before and haven't had a chance to eliminate it.  The shock angle is not right if I use the hoop... wasn't sure if you understood that part.

But you're right.  This trip showed me not to be afraid to crank up the welder At least my driveshaft held up
