Spiders create giant web

"WILLS POINT, Texas - Entomologists are debating the origin and rarity of a sprawling spider web that blankets several trees, shrubs and the ground along a 200-yard stretch of trail in a North Texas park."

There is a video link with the article.

Paraphrasing Carl Sagan...millions and millions of spiders! I like the guy, in the article, saying you could hear the skeeters screaming!

Wow!  :yikes: Crazy. While I have never seen a 200 yard stretch of web I have seen dozens of feet of massive spiderwebs in the woods where hundreds of spiders were "sharing" a large area. But 200 yards....that is insane!! Thanks for the link, that is pretty cool.

Worst spiders I ever experienced, and I am not an arachniphobe, but who really likes spiders, was/are in WV... I think they called them parachute spiders... they shoot out a web and catch the wind.. you think it's a fly or a bee but it's a fecking spider flying by on a parachute web!
Freeked the :pokinit: out of me

Moreso then walk smack dab into a banana spider web :yikes: OK maybe not!
