Hammer Hog

My camera was down  So no photos from me....

But here's a couple from my friend's camera.

First off, it was a successful event put on by the Tin Benders. The clean up netted close to 10,000 pounds of scrap metal and one 25 cubic yard dumpster of miscellaneous trash.

Our club (ExtremeWheelers4Christ.org) donated the dumpster and scrap trailer as well as the dump fees.

We also hosted the infamous Taco Bar...done up by Catfish and crew on our assigned trail...Big Johnson.

We also sold out of maps and turned the proceeds directly back to the Benders fund raiser.

Thanks to all that had helped us in our efforts to help the Bender's make their cause worthy.

For those who do not know, the fund raiser is to go toward the efforts of re-opening Surprise Canyon and other fine trails that have been wrongfully closed.

Here's the Taco Bar...Set-up at the bail-out of Big Johnson:

This is the upper section of Big Johnson looking down at the Taco Bar:

This is out at Outer Limits... We did a night run after the raffle Saturday night. We left camp around 10:PM and took 8 rigs with us. We had no carnage, but it did require some winching for some of the rigs. We returned at 5:something:AM   :yesnod:  What a fun run!!!

85 and still running

I was upset that I didn't get my rock slider installed in time so I didn't go. Based on these pictures, I don't think the sliders would have prevented the body damage... :sheerterror:

I made it thru with only some scratches on the front and rear thirds. of course it was one of the easier trails "Jack hammer".
