What was the weather like? It was HOT here in the IE (high 90s). I am guessing low 100s for the Jambo.

I also saw that 4RnrRick was in your group.  How did he like his first trip to the Hammers? It looks like you were on Claw.

it was in the 90's. I didnt really talk to Rick but he was having a good time, he was taking some of the harder lines and spanking them. It was on clawhammer, everybody said it was one of the easier trails but being my first time out it seemed fairly hard. I thought my truck worked great being its virgin run, i just had some heat problems and had to take my hood off.

A friend of mine was on the lake bed Saturady afternoon while we were up on the trail, he said he was reading 103. It felt like it too up on Jackhammer.....  had some friends from the heat.

Can't wait till next years jambo....

just got home.  will have my pics up in a little bit.  Beat the hell out of my truck and i couldn't break it.  many flops, hydrolocked my motor on one.  Finally broke a front center pin on Backdoor saturday night.  but i didn't even break it, brittany did!

ya, i saw your truck a couple times too.  never got the chance to talk though.  I was trippen out though.  Got up wednesday morning at 5:30 am and went to work till noon.  left for at 5 or so.  got the the lakebed at 5:30 thursday morning.  drove all night with the help of 3 rockstars.  wheeled sledge that day.  went to Jackhammer that night.  then passed out on some rocks on the trail waiting.  that was probably about midnight.  So i was awake for about 42 hours straight.

Aint wheelin fun.  Thats what makes our kind(wheelers) so rare, who else would stay up for 42 hours just to run some rocks.

I ran Sledge, Claw, Jack, Wrecking Ball, and Backdoor.  put many new dents into my body and completely killed my bed from my roll on backdoor.  my motor was cutting out when i would try to do baja style on the lakebed so it sucked.  but it wheeled over everything.

and i bent my passenger side lower 2 inch .250 link on Claw.  I tried the left line up that waterfall thing.  but i got denied.  i will either leave it or cut them both and sleeve them with 1.5 inch .120.

heres my pics!, that trip was  a major blast.  Finally got to really let loose and get my head straight and calm down.  Everyone I met down there was super cool and I look forward to wheeling with you all again.
