That is kind of funny too if you think of it. I drive a Jeep that is mostly Toyota and the Toyota guys don't wave back, what gives?

Maybe they are just jellous or something.

Registration is in the mail.  '85 extracab full bodied- mostly.  Cant wait but damn, I got alot o' little stuff to take care of on the rig.  Missed last years Roundup, but its on now.

Really hope I can meet up with a group going in on Fri.  Camping somewhere in the Buck Island Lake area on fri. night.  Come over and have a beer.  Alot more fun wheelin with others.
I'm runnin solo, well not really- I'm bringing my Father-in-law for his first wheelin trip.
Youll know my rig by the Grey cab/ Brown bed custom paint scheme.  See ya on the trail.

Any body interested in a caravan from So Cal?

I just decided last night to go, so I haven't mapped out the route. Let me look and i'll let you know.

Looks like I'm heading straight up the 5.

To where? Loon lake? Georgetown to Loon? This is my first trip to the Rubicon. I hope I don't get lost and miss all the action.
Should I come up through Hangtown?
Where's the best place to leave the tow rig and trailer. And how long of a drive is it in the trail rig back to the trailer?  ???

Cool. Looks like we could have four vehicles in the caravan. You, me, RuggedJeep, and hopefully my buddy Hootman.
We'll try to co-ordinate it so we can pick you up along the freeway. Will you be towing?

go up 5 to 99 to 50 then turn off on ice house road then take loon lake road and your there!!! simple and you'll see everyone else there parking and you could just join in.  you can either wheel all the way back through the trail to get to your tow rig or all the way around through south lake tahoe which would be like 2 hours on the road back the the tow rig.
