same as a lockrite but you'll have less trouble and less worry about them breaking. had mine for 2 years fornt and rear. the only lockers id put on a toy would be an aussie, for the cheap route, or an ARB for the more expensive route. i do drive mine on the street about once a week but not really in foul weather, and it handles beautifully, once they break in you cant even tell they are back there.

I could be wrong but who knows......

I would go with a Detroit in the rear and any selectable locker up front (read:ARB or elocker) If i couldnt get my hands on a selectable I would run an Aussie up front

yes, ran a full locking detroit in the rear of my DD for many years. I wouldnt want anything else. The regular detroit locker is a fully locking unit...either it is locked or unlocked.   The trutrac is an LSD type. I dont even know if they still make the soft locker..IIRC it is just a quiter ez locker but not sure

yes lots of pavement...no i didnt wear tires any faster. driving style can determine how much tire wear you experience. the cornering is not bad at all....90 percent of the time i dont even know its back there

I'd throw that elocker in the rear and put an aussie up front. With locking hubs you don't need a selectable locker up front, but selectable would be nice in the snow.

are you going to regear when you do this or just set it up with what you have. how far in the future is a SAS, ive seen you talk about that a few times before. the reason im asking is because if you have near future plans to do a SAS i wouldnt even bother with a front locker till that happend.

I am going to get a Detroit rear with 5.29's and an open front with 5.29's for now.  I figure one locker is better than none, and this way I can get some of the other goodies that I want and get the ARB when I can pu together the money to buy one.

You still could have lost it even with the $630 bid. He could have bid 1000$ and ebay only put his proxy bid up enough to beat the closest bid.
If you still have control you aren't going fast enough
