Here is the story. The aluminum on the rock domes when coming into contact with a rock either sheered off, exposing the bolt or covered or molded into the bolt head. I guess I could replace them each time, but their not cheap. Truthfully, after running my grade 5 bolts for two years, very few of the bolt heads were chewed up bad enough that I couldn't get them out. A grade 8 bolt is probably a better investment. I'll try to snap a few pics for you or bring the Runner to the 12-1 AP gathering.
