Have you gotten a ticket yet for only having 1 chain on each axle? A buddy of mine got popped for it once already.

Wow,thanx for the kind words guys, really appreciate the compliments  :beerchug:  .Couple little odds and ends that still need to be done,5 point harnesses, finish painting the tubework, plate the floor board around the cases, and bolting in shocks, front driveshaft and little things like rock lights and CB radio, nothing major.  :beerchug:

Looks great Peps. Will the "little odds and ends" be completed before 12-1? :dunno:

Yes. As long as you have 2 tiedown points per axle it is fine. Makes sense to me, if your back strap broke then your truck would come runnin at ya if you hit the brakes. :yikes:

i looked into the d.o.t. booklet and it doesn't say anything about requiring 2 straps per axle? Only that a vehicle must be securely attached to the tow vehicle......

3 why not 4 or 5......J/k i use 1 chain and binder per axle and 1 strap front and rear.......but lets not start that argument all over again. I was just replying to the guy who stated his bro got a ticket. I was just curious where he got it and what code was stated on the ticket, as the cali. ( i was assuming he got the ticket in cali. might be my mistake)d.o.t. booklet does not make mention of any requirements for 2 attachment points per axle.
