Very neat build, a quad cab is something I've been itching for since a trip to Aus about 6 or 7 years ago.
Design it, Fab it, Wheel it.

You know why it's called a KILT? That's what happened to the last guy who called it a skirt....

Love the bedside cubby idea.  Once your done with the truck, sell it to me!  Or, better yet - make an extra one and sell it to me!  I'd love to do it if I had the time and the resources.

I think it would be awesome on a 1st gen

here's a little update, got the fuel filler neck tube ran and kept it on the passenger side, personal preference

then started working on the bed wall

just for reference i set the shocks about where they will be mounted to the cage that will be between the cab and bed, fuel filler will also be mounted to the cage

then started skinning, the two sections to either side of the center will have removable panels so i can easily get to the shocks or anything else back there

Interesting, looks good.

You don't think some fuel will sit in the long fill neck?? from the pics it looks like there is a low spot in the routing of it. toward the pass side.

Doesn't really matter since the top of the neck is still higher than the tank

Not much to update, got the cab side of the fenders trimmed, and the cab blasted. Have been working on some half doors for a fj40 lately, and also helped get my friends 84 running with his 5vz swap. Will get to work on my truck again after the upcoming holiday weekend.

I really like to see work like this. Can't wait to see the finished product.

Talon84x4

Work on this has started again. Had to get a new helmet and ran out of gas, but almost got the rear fenders finally welded up after they got trimmed. Trying to work out what to do for the tubing when i can't be out working on the body, here's what i came up for the rear hoop.

and then just an updated photoshop of how the bed ended up being cut, and how i think the rear doors will end up

that picture is my motivation, and i'm glad to get back to work on this project
