I / we are looking at getting the hell out of Dodge. Glen has sent us links for property in AK and that looks good for the price.

If anybody know of any property for sale like 10 aces maybe with a shop, list it here or PM me. I have had it with the code Nazis and neighbors around here.

If you can't trust your neighbors, who needs them.

yeah, I know.

:offtopic: anecdote about Arkansas:

I was at work one day, and this beekeeper guy comes in.  He has a forklift made out of a 31 dodge pickup that he needs points for.  While I was looking up his parts, I was BS ing my boss, who mentioned he had been playing cards with some 18YO girls the night before(they are close family friends) and this bearded, smelling redneck pokes his head up and says (loudly): "damn, 18 huh? I thought I left Arkansas 3days ago!?!"  I thought my boss was gonna crap himself.

sorry, just thought I'd share... :dunno:

What a pita, try this http://thompson-brown.idxre.com/idx/detail.cfm?cid=897&bid=6&pid=60122486&ff=1

$450k I would need three trucks and 4 jobs to keep up with that. Lets look for something under $150k.

Especially if the job market is soft.

Thanks

If you work in HVAC then try Wisconsin or Minnesota. Hot as balls in the summer and frigid in the winter. Plenty of work. South Dakota make be up your alley since they don't give a crap what anybody does out there.

Man...you wanna talk about hot?

After much consideration, I can make the following recommendations:

Phoenix...One of the fastest growing metro areas in the nation, close to some bitchin wheeling. A little hot 2 or 3 months a year.

Central Texas...very, nice country. Also very fast growing (Austin). And...then you can be Dallas Cowboy fans like me!

Nashville...I freaking love Tennessee! Great town and also lots of growth.

Maybe we could go in on it together?

There would be plenty of room to lock up ORG!

Oddly enough, I was looking at that chunk of Texas a couple of weeks ago while fantasizing about having lots of money and no neighbors for miles!

I get up there a couple of times a year, I've got some relatives I visit...and go to the cheescake factory!
