Well ive decided that im going to gte new rings for the bad cylinder, new head gasket, and anyhting else i need. My friend from work came with me to my house, and he said its most likely rings, so he is going to help  me drop the oil pan crank and redo timing. So my next pay check will start the epoch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thats good, really good. But there is still a concern that you may have a bad head gasket. I wouldn't push it to hard untill you have determined if you have a bad head gasket or not.. you might blow her up if you don't find out

Well on a compression test, bubbles would be coming up in the radiator, and i saw none, so im ruling out bad head gasket.

Hey Josh, that hose i removed to get to the bolt better, it is reinstalled now. You doing anything this sunday? Could you help me? It runs now but seems to be miss firing alot. I dont know though.

why would it do that??? just curious...

When the head gasket is leaking air goes through the block into the cooling system. Im not sure how, but in my training in engine perf. I learned that.

P.S. im grounded from driving except to and from work for the entire summer. I get to do something i want in my car once every two weeks, due to a D in math. I need a B average in order to drive, my summer is kinda screwed.

Yeah Josh, I got 1 A, 3 Bs and a D. I had a 104% in auto class. Well im grounded from driving, only to and from work i can do. Every two weeks i can take my car or truck and do something i want. Other wise i can still do stuff, i just have to be picked up or meet somewhere. I have the truck almost fixed. I cant figure out the last problem.

As far as the miss fire goes, that sounds like a timing issue (cap, rotor, plugs, wires, timing) did you replace any of that stuff. so when driving when you hit 3k or so dose it feel like an instant power boost? If so it is most likely related to the time issues you are having.

weld them on...plate the frame where you weld them and use gussets on the tops of the legs

use jackstands to hold them in position when welding (another person helps to hold too)

the plate in the pic is straight, a 45 degree turn or fishmouths would be better though

I removed my intake manifold today, look and tell me what you guys see. I see anti freeze in my manifold? My injector electric plugins all suck balls. What to do? Hey DTB where can i get those plates? Is there fuel pressure in the fuel rail with the manifold off? I want to remove the injectors but will fuel poor out?

if the truck as been sitting for a bit and not ran you should be able to pull the fuel rail and injectors with out fuel spraying all over. That look like antifreeze or the green mud u sucked up  .
