I'm new to this site. I building an 87 4Runner & am doing the sas with 5.5 springs in front & 63's in the rear. I had an 83 that I sold ealier this year. I have some 79-83 parts for sale. Just ask, I might have it. This is a pic of the truck I sold & a pic of my 4runner.

Thanks for the welcome. The paint on the truck is actually red & green primer, for easy trail damage touch up.

Thanks for the welcome. Don't know if there is anything different about the S.E. The only thing Special about it is that it has A/C & power nothing. You guys know A/c is needed out here in the valley.

Thanks for the  oldyellercj, topar & 88toyota. The only new thing I've done is my rear shocks. I reused the spring mounts from the rear I used them to mounts the shocks at the axle. I still have to fab my front shock mounts & front square driveshaft. I'll posts more pic's as I get things done.

welcome from 40 miles down the road...that shock angle looks to be around 45 degrees...but...i don't see long travel potential

Right now I'm using the Rancho RS9012 which is a 12" travel shock. I have 1 3/4" upward travel that doesn't bottom out & 10 1/4" downward travel that tops out the shock. I have more to go but shock is too short. I need  longer shocks.
