lots of times we stop at the faststrip for anyone that needs to get a bit more gas or grab some stuff inside the store. you could hang out there, im sure you couldnt miss us.

I have been trying to get a bunch of guys to go up on saturday on another local board, but have not had any luck. Someone pointed me over here for a group that was looking to go up. You guys mind if I tag along? The rig is fully equipped and capable, I just cant seem to get anyone from the local boards to commit.

He's from Chico, CJ with 1 tons and 4d's.  I'm going to try and make it.  I need to install a new tranny cooler.  If I have to, I can take friday off to do it.  I'd like to head up a  little earlier, 9:15 in paradise means 10-10:30 at inskip for a  large group.

Thanks guys. Wilsons right, its a CJ on 1tons and Iroks. It rocked in the snow last spring, hopefully it does as well in the powder. The stock 304 suffers under the tires and deep stuff, but its still goin. There is always 4 lo, but damn the case is loud.

Wilson, you gotta get that thing goin, I saw a pic of it on the rocks at the clay pit, its looking good. I went for a quick trip on sunday to see the rocks,. Not to bad if you got a group of guys messing around on it to keep you entertained. I went with my 20 mo daughter and 6 month pregnant girlfriend, so it kept it interesting with no spotter and wet, muddy, loose rocks.

I agree about going up earlier, it will be pretty late getting up there in the weather. But just name a time and place and Ill be there. Anyone else towing there rig up there? With all the snow Im not sure how far Ill be able to go dragging the trailer. Maybe I can drop it at sterling and take the jeep from there.

Also, I was planning on making a "family" trip on sunday for anyone who is interested. Will be taking the girlfriend and daughter up to play in the snow, do some sledding and maybe tube pulling.

Thanks, I had my dog spot me when I was there and jumped out to take my own pics.  It's been a long project, but there's just little stuff left now.  Get in touch with me maybe Friday, if you want to head up a bit earlier.  I usually like to leave Paradise around 7:00 am or so to get a good jump before all of the sledders and other non-wheelers that clog the road.  228-7716

I have the Key's to my friends cabin in Sterling City I will be staying there Friday Night, the cabin is right on the main Road. My rig will be parked right inside the fence in front of the House anyone's welcome you can't miss it. 83  toy on 4DEZZ. Please call me first 530-591-4697

hey jason do you think it would be a good idea to bring a chainsaw? last time we went on a run there was a smaller tree down (around 10-12" diameter) laying over the trail heading up to morris. it would suck to have to turn back on a good day when your not done wheeling.

Yes, I would definetly bring a saw. We had tons of trees come down around town and usually after a storm like this they will continue to come down for several days. This snow was very wet and heavy. Should pack awesome and be great to wheel in and when it clears up and freezes it will be "drive anywhere" snow.

sweet well let me know what everyone is doing besides with a group that big we could catch up pretty quick. my friend went up sat nite and broke trail to phillbrok in four feet of fresh powder and said it pretty awesome snow conditions. lets hope it stays cold or else bring a lot of extra clothes
